This season the Los Angeles Lakers come back locked and loaded as the newest superteam in the NBA. The Lakers have come to be known somewhat as superheroes in the city of LA, and why not, a team like this is never assembled in recent memory, at least not one that fits together so well on so many levels.

The new look Lakers consist of the graceful mid-aid assists and amazing court vision of Steve Nash, the finesse and skilled post moves of International big man Pau Gasol, the killer instinct and dominating competitive drive of the Black Mamba also known as Kobe Bryant, the shifty and powerful defensive antics of Metta World Peace, and the unstoppable power moves of Dwight Howard with his anchor like defensive prowess, which keeps opposing players out of the lane.

This team looks to avenge the past two years of NBA playoff shortcoming for a franchise rooted in history and championship banners. Can this group suceed? Will they develop the chemistry needed? Can they play to their full potential and steamroll the league? No body is sure, but one thing is certain, it is gonna be one hell of a ride.
